Understanding by Design Training for Theological Education
Training to be offered September 28-30, 2010 - ABWE International Training Center, New Cumberland , PA

Understanding by Design is a course design methodology that focuses on teaching to the transferable understandings in a subject.  In this way students are equipped to apply the knowledge and skills they develop in various contexts and new situations.  During the three days of training we will design a course together as we develop skill in using the Understanding by Design approach.  This is a vital tool for a missionary educator who is training men and women to serve God in varied and new cultures.  If you would like to register for this training send an email to Dale Marshfield (dale@abwe.cc) and carbon copy it to Carolyn Haskell (carolynh@abwe.org).
